Jordan Kirkpatrick arrives to boost Clyde cause
Second-placed Clyde have boosted their promotion hopes with the addition of Dumbarton striker Jordan Kirkpatrick on loan until the end of the season.
Barry Ferguson's side are on a run of four consecutive wins as they prepare to host struggling Arbroath in Scottish League Two.
The Bully Wee will be without the suspended David Marsh, while Brian McQueen, Scott McMann and Scott Ferguson (all knee) are out, and Barry Ferguson will be forced into late fitness tests on Michael Bolochoweckyj and Sean Higgins.
Barry Ferguson said: "We have had a demanding schedule of games however winning them takes away any feelings of tiredness. This game will be another test as Arbroath recently brought in a new manager and the players will want to impress him."
Arbroath defender Craig Johnstone is unlikely to start the game due to a knee injury.
Manager Dick Campbell will give starts to Kane Hester and Jamie Reid as he looks to find a cutting edge in attack, with his side winning just once in their last nine.
Campbell said: "We lost to a last minute goal at Queen's Park last weekend however I am not entertaining any thoughts of feeling sorry for ourselves.
"We need to make amends by defeating Clyde and if we put in a much stronger first half than we did last Saturday then we have a chance. Some players will get a first chance to impress me in this game as I look to find the right blend."
