Clyde pondering appeal over Gormley red card
Clyde will include striker David Gormley against visitors East Stirling if manager Barry Ferguson opts to appeal against his sending off in the 1-0 win over Arbroath at the weekend.
John Gemmell is a doubt after being injured at Gayfield and he could join Brian McQueen, Scott McMann and Scott Ferguson who all miss out due to knee injuries.
"I said after the game that David's tackle was not a red card so we could well appeal," Ferguson said. "We have won three games in a row now and it has been a case of grinding out results.
"We may need to do that again as East Stirling are a decent side."
Currently bottom of the table, Shire miss Billy Vidler due to a knee injury with broken metatarsals seeing Ross Gilmour and Michael Wallace ruled out and a hamstring problem keeps Max Wright sidelined.
Head coach Craig Tully said: "We are five points behind Berwick Rangers and this game represents the game in hand we have over them. Afterwards we will know exactly where we stand and hopefully it will be three points closer.
"We can go there with confidence as we went to the league leaders Elgin on Saturday and contained them for more than an hour. They only got the breakthrough with a penalty we reckon was very soft."
