Craig Bryson this week signed a new contract which will tie the promising youngster to Clyde for the next two years. After scoring within a few minutes of his debut, Bryson has been a key part of the table topping Clyde side. The highly rated 18 year old, who trained with the Scotland U19 squad earlier this season is a midfielder with an eye for goal. In recent weeks he has been involved in a couple of goals, won a penalty as well as picking up a shoulder injury. He also performed an excellent man-marking job on the dangerous Russell Latapy, of Falkirk, a role which many players have struggled to perform.
Billy Reid rates the youngster highly and after he won the young player of the year award on loan at East Kilbride Juniors Bryson returned to Clyde, where he has made a huge impact. With Bryson recently turning 18, he was keen to sign a full professional contract and a direct-debit scheme involving the Supporters Trust has freed up the funds to do so.
