Clyde draw old foes in Challenge Cup

Clyde were today handed a tough home tie against second division Forfar Athletic in the Bells Challenge Cup. The last tie between the sides saw the Loons shock the Bully Wee by winning 2-1 at Broadwood in the year 2002.

Clyde took their place in the draw by beating another second division side, Stranraer, on Tuesday. A similar result would see Clyde in the semi finals of a cup competition and with a serious chance of some silverware.

The full draw is as follows:

Clyde v Forfar
Falkirk v Gretna
Berwick v St Johnstone
Ross County v Partick Thistle

Ties will be played on the 14th of September.
