Clyde set to sign French star

Ex-Marseille and Strasbourg player Mickael Marsiglia is today set to complete a move to the Bully Wee, in an aim to earn himself a move to a bigger British side. The move, which will see Marsiglia play for Clyde until January, is the latest in a line of French stars playing for Clyde in an attempt to earn a move to a bigger club. Karim Kerkar signed for Dundee United after playing three games for Clyde and Jean Louis Valois only played one game, in an attempt to impress scouts.

Marsiglia once moved to Marseille for £1.75 million, as a replacement for Robert Pires. The 28 year old, who was born on Christmas Day 1975, is hopefully another talented player who will help Clyde achieve their goals of fighting off relegation and in a league as close as this, maybe even challenging for the SPL. Marsiglia plays as a winger usually and is known as a deadball specialist and he should go straight into the team to face Airdrie United tomorrow, provided the necessary clearance comes through in time.
