Clyde take on Raith Rovers

Clyde go into today's game with Raith Rovers, keen to pick up three points against the division's whipping boys. Raith have only drawn ONE match this season and lost TEN games in league and cup so far. The last two weeks, have seen Raith's chairman, Turnbull Hutton, stand down and their French boss, Claude Anelka has left the club.

At this stage, it is unclear whether Anelka was paid off, if he wasn't, then he could be back to reclaim the money he invested in the club. Meanwhile, the Kirkcaldy side have installed club legend Gordon Dalziel as their new manager. The ex-Ayr United boss has been out of work since leaving the Somerset Park club and was a popular choice for the manager slot.

Raith will be without Jules Tchimbakala who has broken his arm again, but they have an otherwise full strength squad. The player to watch out for, is the Spaniard, Paquito, who was impressive as Clyde defeated Raith by 3 goals to 2 back in August.

As for Clyde, it has been a fairly quiet couple of weeks, since the Bully Wee defeated St Johnstone. Player-assistant boss Stuart Balmer misses out with a hamstring problem and Graham McCracken has knee ligament trouble, so he also misses out. Neither would have played in any case. Michael Marsiglia has also left the club by mutual consent. Apart from that, Clyde have a full strength side and come into the game after a morale boosting win over Livingston in a midweek friendly, Mark Gilhaney netting a double.

Clyde should win this match, but against a side with a new manager and who are being written off, it's important not to be complacent.
