Clyde vs Hamilton preview

With covers being placed on the Broadwood surface just in time, todays crucial match will definitely go ahead.

Clyde suffered their second league defeat this season in last weekends game with Airdrie United and like their first defeat, they'll be looking to bounce back with a win against Hamilton.
Accies currently sit second bottom in the table but are hot on the heels of teams like Airdrie, Partick Thistle and St Johnstone. After defeating QotS last weekend confidence will be high ahead of their trip to Broadwood. There is still a whole host of ex-Clyde players on the opposing team. Mark McLaughlin, Pat Keogh, Stevie Convery, Chris Aitken, Brian Carrigan, Dave McEwan and Brian McPhee all played for the Bully Wee, for differing amounts of time. Keogh played 200 game for Clyde and McEwan only managed one during a loan spell in 2002.
Clyde will be without Eddie Malone through suspension and Gary Arbuckle is extremely doubtful with a shoulder injury and only has a slight chance of making it. On the plus side, Bryn Halliwell is fit despite a shoulder injury troubling him recently and Alex Walker should play after impressing last weekend as a substitute, where he scored Clyde's consolation. I expect the team to line-up like this:
Halliwell
Mensing Wilson Potter Bollan
Bryson Gibson Sheridan Walker
Wilford Harty
At this stage a good performance isn't important. With Falkirk and St Mirren both at home, against St Johnstone and Raith Rovers respectively, it's crucial that Clyde win to keep themselves in the title hunt.
