Marsiglia leaves Clyde

Ex-Marseille star, Michael Marsiglia has left Clyde after just a month of his four month deal. The player, who once moved for £1.75 million to replace Robert Pires has failed to adjust to the Scottish game.

After a poor debut against Hamilton, Marsiglia did a little bit better against Dundee United, but after failing to impress recently in training, Billy Reid has decided to end his contract, something which the player has agreed with.

After impressive displays by Karim Kerkar and Jean Louis Valois, it was hoped that this deal, set-up by Reid's close friend, Willie MacKay would prove to be a fruitful one, for both the player and the club. However, it sadly hasn't worked out this way.

We wish Michael all the best in his future career.
