Clyde 2-1 Stirling- Match Report

Sweeney bags the winner

John Sweeney's second-half strike earned Clyde a 2-1 victory at Broadwood Stadium as bottom-placed Stirling's search for an away league win continues.

Stefan McCluskey forced home Gavin Brown's right-wing cross to put the hosts ahead after 21 minutes.

Scott Davidson should have done better when offered a sight of goal in the 61st minute, missing the target when well-placed as the home side started the second-half slowly.

Jim Duffy's men have kept just one clean sheet all season and saw their lead slip once again in the 61st minute when Jordan White got on the end of Brian Allison's cross to nod in an equaliser.

Kevin Watt's right-wing cross picked out Sweeney three minutes later and the midfielder put the hosts back into the lead with a crisp finish.
