Super seven for Clyde

Rock-bottom East Stirling's miserable season continued as they were thumped 7-1 at Clyde in the Scottish Third Division.

Striker Stephen McDonald's close-range finish gave the hosts the lead after 14 minutes and Gavin Brown made it 2-0 five minutes later with a superb 25-yard curler.

John Neill then made it three on 31 minutes, stabbing the ball home from six yards out after the visitors failed to clear John Sweeney's corner.

Declan Gallagher nodded Sweeney's cross home on 77 minutes shortly before Michael Oliver drilled a low right-footed effort into the back of the net to make it 5-0.

Liam Cusack then scored from close range with an outstretched right-foot just a minute later.

Bradley Coyne scored a consolation for the visitors 47 seconds later from the edge of the area before Mark Archdeacon finished the scoring in added time with a low right-footed strike.
