Wooden spoon guaranteed for East Stirling

East Stirling will finish bottom of the Third Division after suffering a 1-0 home defeat to Clyde.

John Neill's 76th-minute goal was the difference between the two sides and means East Stirling will finish bottom of the pile for the first time since 2007.

Jordyn Sheerin had a great chance for the home side in the first half, but couldn't find the target with his 30th-minute header.

Kieran Brannan fired wide from 12 yards for the visitors in first-half stoppage time.

Clyde scored the only goal of the game 14 minutes from time as Neill coolly found the back of Calum Antell's net from six yards out.

The home side pressed for an equaliser, but Kevin Turner fired his 90th minute effort from the edge of the area wide of Nicholas Feely's left-hand post.
