Bully Wee extend run to go top

Clyde moved top of Scottish League Two and stretched their unbeaten run to eight games with a hard-fought 1-0 win at East Stirling.

A solitary second-half strike from Stefan McCluskey was enough to secure all three points for the visitors as the Shire dropped to fourth in the table on goal difference after a run of poor form which has seen them win just once in their last seven.

East Stirling were guilty of being wasteful in the first half when Michael Herd's weak shot from 12 yards was easily gathered by Nikola Rajovic before Chris Townsley headed wide from close range with 20 minutes played.

The hosts' lack of conviction in front of goal came back to haunt them in the second half, though, when Clyde's John Sweeney picked out McCluskey and the striker made no mistake from six yards for his third goal of the season.
