Stranraer frustrated by battling Clyde
Stranraer moved up to second place in Scottish Division Three but lost ground on leaders Annan after being held to a tedious goalless draw by Clyde.
The Blues, chasing a sixth win in a row, saw Grant Gallagher and Stephen Stirling thwarted by Clyde goalkeeper Filip Mentel in a first half of few chances before John Neill fired over for the visitors on the stroke of half-time.
The second half continued as the first period left off with chances at a premium for both sides.
Dundee United loanee Mentel had little problem dealing with more long-range efforts from Michael Moore and Sean Winter.
The Cumbernauld club's best chance fell to Liam Cusack just after the hour-mark, but his shot was straight at David Mitchell.
